On 29-11-2017 we went Oss to visit Rösler Benelux BV. Rösler is a company that specializes in surface finishing of different materials.
We were welcomed at the company with coffee, thee and cake. We waited a few minutes for everyone to arrive before the first presentation by Rösler started. The presentation was about all the work Rösler does. They specialize in surface finishing of different materials. They talked about the different ways of surface finishing and the different materials they work on.
After the presentation, we got a tour through the company, which was organized well. Everyone got a headset so we could understand the person who was leading the tour. It was interesting to see the company and all the different machines they use for surface finishing.
Next, we got a very nice lunch provided by Rösler. There were sandwiches, soup and drinks for everybody.
The they ended with a presentation from Ton van der Steen about all the possibilities of surface finishing in combination with 3D-printing. It was a very interesting day at Rösler Benelux BV, where we learned quite a few new things.
